Attracting and enrolling students from a broad range of backgrounds and life experiences is central to the mission of St. Olaf College. St. Olaf remains especially committed to the success of first-generation students and students from low-income backgrounds, and St. Olaf supports these students in a number of ways:
- A commitment to meeting 100% of demonstrated financial need for all students
- Student Support Services, a 4-year academic success program for first-generation and/or low-income students
- SSS Summer Bridge, a free, month-long credit-bearing academic and social college transition experience for students accepted to St. Olaf through its SSS program
- An engaged and supportive campus community including dedicated staff and resources in our Center for Multicultural and International Engagement and a variety of active Multicultural Student Organizations.
We are also excited to provide 25 high-achieving, first generation and/or low-income prospective students with free transportation to St. Olaf for our Fall Visit Day on November 7.
Please use this form to submit nominations no later than Friday, September 30. You may nominate up to two students. We will contact selected students directly and make travel arrangements. St. Olaf will cover all travel expenses.
