Director of Student Activities and Buntrock Commons
As Director of Student Activities and Buntrock Commons, Kris helps oversee the day to day operation of the Buntrock Commons. She also works with a variety of student organizations, including the Student Government Association and is co-coordinator of the Week One program. Her master’s degree is in recreation, parks and tourism with an emphasis in college union administration from Western Illinois University. Kris spent time at the Universities of Wisconsin Platteville and Superior and before coming to St. Olaf. She is a mom, quilter, scrapbooker, and a social media junkie.
Administrative Assistant, Room Scheduler
A graduate of Augsburg College, Nancy’s responsibilities at St. Olaf include scheduling meeting spaces and college vans. She teaches fitness classes at Carleton College twice a week. At home, she enjoys time with her kids aged 16 and 18, camping, and antiques.
Building Services Coordinator
Anton’s responsibilities include setting up/tearing down rooms for events and meetings in various spaces throughout Buntrock Commons, including audio/visual equipment. After six and a half years in the Army, Anton graduated from George Mason University (GMU) in Fairfax, Virginia. Anton has close to 11 years of experience in higher education and, in addition to GMU, attended Randolph-Macon College, Berklee College of Music, and the Defense Language Institute. When he’s not hanging out with his little girl, Anton likes to read, play music, solve math problems, and write.
