Chess Fundamentals – Adult/Coach OleChess Campchesscoachcamp

For the novice to moderate strength adult interested in strengthening their chess knowledge for themselves or for the purpose of teaching others. This option includes take-away materials and a letter of recommendation for the USCF Certified Chess Coach Program. Stronger players should consider Intensive Study. The class not only focuses on fundamentals, other aspects include:

  • general understanding of strategy and tactics
  • chess history and its place in understanding the game
  • classical chess games, how to defeat younger opponents
  • how to teach and coach chess

This adult chess camp option will provide take-away materials and a letter of recommendation for the USCF Certified Chess Coach Program.

$25 discount offered to coaches bringing at least 4 players from one school to the OleChess Camp 2013.
