Acting Camp

Students ages 12-16

From acting to basic combat training to stage make-up to a group musical theatre performance, students of all levels leave camp feeling more experienced in multiple areas of theater.  In addition to classes and rehearsals – all taught by talented instructors and guest specialists – the camp schedule includes enjoyable nightly social activities. No prior theater experience is required.

Included with your registration is the Basic Stage Combat class.  Learn basic hand-to-hand combat and sword play.  Participants learn how to safely integrate stage combat into the story telling of the scene.  For an additional fee, you can purchase your combat-approved sword.

Optional Offering: Beginning Stage Makeup class – $30 additional fee (includes take-home makeup kit)
Explore basic stage make up which will include how to highlight your features for the stage, and wound techniques.  Campers with a latex allergy cannot take part in any prosthetics portions of the class.
