St. Olaf Summer Theater Camps 2014

Q: Does St. Olaf provide transportation to campus?
A: St. Olaf provides a shuttle service to and form the MSP International airport for a fee. Shuttle form.

Q: How many campers attend theater camp?
A: Between 40-50.

Q: Are there any scholarships or financial assitance available for students in need?
A: Please visit our scholarship page.

Q: Are there auditions?
A: Audition materials must be submitted if you plan to register for the Master Class Option (Acting Camp).

How to register for the Master Class
The Master Class option is available to students who have completed at least one session of our Summer Theater Camp or who have written recommendation from a director, teacher or counselor. A videotaped audition (DVD, VHS or online submission) that illustrates your abilities must be submitted by June 1.  This video must include an introduction, a statement of what you would like to gain from the Master Class, and at least one monologue of no more than one-and-a-half minutes.

Q: Are there campers from out-of-state?
A: About 20% of the campers are from states other than Minnesota, that number grows each year.

Q: What is the gender make up of a typically theater camp?
A: Typically 1/3 boys to 2/3 girls.

Q: What is the refund policy?
A: Please read the refund policy on the registration page.

Q: My child is one year too young for camp, can they still register?
A: We maintain a wait list and if there are still openings prior to the start of camp we will fill positions with younger students. Call the camp office to get your name on the list. 507-786-3042.

Q: Can I use a credit card to pay for camp other than on-line?
A: Sorry, no. In order to meet regulations we can only take credit cards using our on-line form.
