Cancellation/NoShow Policy

Missed appointments with a COUNSELOR (no show or cancellation with less than 24 hour notice):  If you miss a scheduled appointment with a counselor and we do not hear from you, we will send you an email or letter, or contact you by phone asking if you want to continue with counseling. If you do not respond in a timely manner, we will assume you are no longer interested in our services and counseling will be automatically terminated.  We reserve the right to deny services to any student who has missed 3 or more scheduled counseling appointments during the course of an academic year.

Missed appointments with our PSYCHIATRIST or DIETITIAN (no show or cancellation with less than 24 hour notice):  If you miss a scheduled appointment with our psychiatrist or dietitian and we do not hear from you, we will send you an email or letter, or contact you by phone asking if you want to continue with this service. If you do not respond in a timely manner, we will assume you are no longer interested in this service and it will be automatically terminated. We reserve the right to deny services to any student who has missed 2 or more scheduled appointments during the course of an academic year.

Please note: We realize that sometimes circumstances change or emergencies arise and necessitate changing appointment times. We would greatly appreciate hearing from you at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule, as other students will likely be waiting for available appointment times.
