Scholarships for Women. A millennium ago, women didn’t really go to college. If they were going to be working women, they went to Business College. Today, everything is different. Women are in the workplace, and as such, have recognized the need for a degree to get ahead. The glass ceiling is not as solid, but the solvent that can make it disappear is your degree from an institution of higher learning. If you are one who is just out of high school and setting off for college for the first time– don’t hesitate. Scholarships abound for women in every category and in every field.
