Students who have a vehicle and will be staying on campus to study or work for the summer will need to obtain a Summer Parking Permit from the Parking Office (Tomson Hall 100). The cost of the permit for the summer is $25.00. This covers both Summer Session I and Summer Session II.
As during the academic year, the parking policy is still in effect, and there are two types of summer permits for students—one for those living on campus, and another for those living off campus.
On-campus permits are to park in Skoglund Lot or Lincoln Lot. Even though Mohn Hall is the summer residence hall, at this time there are not any on-campus permits allowed to park in the lot next to the building.
Off-campus permits can park in either of the two commuter lots—Lot H (near Generator Shed) or the West row of Lot B (between commuter parking signs only). Signs are posted labeling EACH of the areas as Commuter Parking.
Due to the various conferences and events that will be held on campus throughout the summer, it is extremely important that students park where their permit allows, and not take up faculty/staff/visitor spaces that will be needed by others.
