Professor Henriet Hendriks earned her B.A. in American Studies at the University of Amsterdam and her Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Minnesota. After teaching at Susquehanna University in Central Pennsylvania for two years, she returned to Minnesota to join the Political Science Department at St. Olaf. Her main teaching and research interests are in American politics, campaigns and elections, and public opinion. This year, she teaches the introductory course to American politics, Analyzing Politics, and, during the interim, Media & Politics.
