Most events planned by the students we work with in SAC, DCC, The Lion’s Pause, PAC, etc are held in Buntrock Commons.

 

Driving directions from the Twin Cities for events in the Lion’s Pause:

  1. From Interstate 35 (the nearest four-lane thoroughfare), take Exit 69 to Highway 19 East. The main entrance to the campus is five miles east of the interstate via Highway 19; look for a stone marker on your left as you enter Northfield city limits.

At the top of the hill, go through the roundabout and head left (north).  Follow this road through campus.  At next stop sign take slight right, then left into parking lot.  The building facing this parking lot is Buntrock Commons.

Please come in the main entrance of Buntrock Commons – the Lion’s Pause is the first door on the left.

  • Cedar Ave or 77/23 South also comes down to Northfield.
    Take 77 South through Apple Valley, Lakeville, etc. all the way into Northfield – follow the signs.When in the town of Northfield, you’ll come to a stop sign (intersection of 23 and Lincoln Parkway).  Take a right (south) onto Lincoln.Take a right (west) onto St. Olaf Avenue, and it will bring you right up to campus. At the top of St. Olaf Avenue,  Buntrock Commons will be the building on your immediate left.  Parking is available in the parking lot on the right.Please come in the main entrance of Buntrock Commons – the Lion’s Pause is the first door on the left.
  • You also may reach the campus via St. Olaf Avenue, which intersects with Highway 3 in Northfield.At the top of St. Olaf Avenue, Buntrock Commons will be the building on your immediate left.  Parking is available in the parking lot on the right. Please come in the main entrance of Buntrock Commons – the Lion’s Pause is the first door on the left.
    There is also an outside entrance for load-in, to the immediate left of the main/North entrance of Buntrock. These doors are marked with Lion’s Pause signs.  Vehicles may be parked there temporarily for load-in only.
