I. Mission Statement
Promote a healthy and safe living, learning and working environment for the College community.
II. Membership
Drawn from a cross section of the College community, the committee utilizes its knowledge, and on-the-job experience to support the mission statement.
III. Responsibilities
A. Inform the College community regarding safety issues to promote campus community awareness, commitment, and participation in safety issues.
B. Provide a reporting channel and encourage input regarding health and safety issues from employees and students.
C. Discuss accidents, possible remedies, safety policies, and safe work practices.
D. Provide suggestions to the appropriate office(s) to maintain safe conditions for the College community through observation and discussion.
