St. Olaf Safety Committee


I.  Mission Statement
Promote a healthy and safe living, learning and working environment for the college community.

II.  Membership
Drawn from a cross section of the college community, the committee utilizes its knowledge and on the job experience to support the mission statement.

 

III.  The Responsibilities of the Safety Committee are:
A.  Inform the College community regarding safety issues to promote campus community awareness, commitment and participation in safety issues.
B.  Provide a reporting channel and encourage input for health and safety issues submitted by employees and students.
C.  Discuss accidents, safety policies, safe work practices, conditions and possible remedies.
D.  Provide suggestions to the appropriate office to maintain safe conditions for the college community through observation and discussion.
