Strive to use 5 Center for Advising and Academic Support (CAAS) services each semester!<\/i><\/b><\/h2>\n

Looking for ways to improve your GPA? Want to learn new study techniques or find a community of students learning the same concepts? CAAS services provide assistance to reach your academic goals. To encourage students to utilize these services, CAAS has a drawing each semester for students who have utilized at least 5 CAAS services.<\/span><\/p>\n

What qualifies? <\/b><\/h4>\n

Every CAAS event or session (e.g. tutoring, workshop, Supplemental Instruction (SI), academic coaching, etc.) you attend counts as one CAAS service. Attending five SI sessions means you completed 5 services. Or, two SI sessions, two academic coaching sessions and one writing desk session also equates to 5 services.<\/span><\/p>\n

How do I enter the drawing? <\/b><\/h4>\n

To enter, simply record the service and date you attended in the circles on the STRIVE FOR 5 card.\u00a0 When you\u2019ve attended 5 services, bring it into CAAS–Tomson 153 and drop it into the STRIVE FOR 5 drawing basket. You can also take a photo of your completed card and send it as an attachment to <\/span>caas-staff@stolaf.edu<\/span><\/a>. You can enter multiple times!<\/span><\/p>\n

Where can I get a Strive for Five Card? <\/i><\/b><\/h4>\n

Stop by the CAAS office–Tomson 153 to pick one up or download one here.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

When is the deadline to enter? <\/b><\/h4>\n

The deadline is 5 pm on reading day each semester.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This drawing enters you to win one of two $20 gift cards to the St. Olaf Bookstore.<\/span><\/p>\n
