Read and Write provides speech-to-text, text-to-speech, mp3 creation, and many more features<\/li>\n<li><strong>LearningAlly<\/strong> \u2013 audio of your textbook, read by a human voice. Available\u00a0for Windows or\u00a0Mac, as well as on any iDevice or registered DAISY player. Learning Ally accounts are only available to students with qualifying print disabilities<\/li>\n<li><strong>VoiceDream<\/strong> &#8212; An iOS application capable of reading PDFs while highlighting the words<\/li>\n<li><strong>Braille<\/strong> &#8212; Required readings, tests, and quizzes can be embossed in-house in most cases<\/li>\n<li><strong>Large print<\/strong> &#8212; Required readings, tests, and quizzes can be made available in large print<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How can I prepare <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">before<\/span> each semester?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Be ahead of the game! As soon as you the book lists are posted:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Buy your books and deliver them (or have them mailed directly) to Disability and Access (DAC), Tomson Hall, suite 153 (c\/o Laura Knobel-Piehl)<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Keep your original email or paper receipts, and bring them into DAC with your books<\/p>\n<p>DAC will look through your request form to see if alternate texts are available before cutting the binding and scanning the book. Cutting the binding will be the last resort.
