Previous topics include curbside compost and rain barrels to improve sustainability in Northfield.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a title=\"crwp\" href=\"http:\/\/crwp.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cannon River Watershed Partnership<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nThis group of local community members is committed to restoring and protecting the health and quality of the Cannon River.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a title=\"northfield sustainability\" href=\"http:\/\/wp.northfieldsustainability.org\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Greater Northfield Sustainability Collaborative<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nThis group seeks to connect Carleton and St. Olaf sustainability efforts with the efforts of the larger community including non-profits, city governments, and other community groups.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a title=\"greestep\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ci.northfield.mn.us\/index.aspx?NID=722\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GreenStep Cities Program<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nGreenStep Cities is a voluntary funded by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, which Northfield partakes in with the goal of becoming more sustainable.<\/p>\n<p><!-- begin-migrated-from-panel-builder --><!-- end-migrated-from-panel-builder --><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Northfield Environmental Quality Commission\u00a0 This local commission works towards finding solutions to local environmental issues.
