You\u2019ll receive admission notification from us in early December for Early Decision 1 and in early February for Early Decision 2. Early Decision is <b>binding<\/b> and is based on an agreement that if admitted, you\u2019ll withdraw your applications to other colleges and commit officially to St. Olaf.<\/p>\n<p>We know that many of our students want to weigh admission offer options, which is not possible with Early Decision. If you want to apply early to St. Olaf and receive your admission notification early, send us your Early Action application. The Early Action deadline is November 1; you\u2019ll hear from us by late December. Early Action is <b>non-binding<\/b>, so you may still apply to other colleges. After you receive your admission notification from us, you are not required to make your college choice until May 1. Early Action applicants will get the same consideration for scholarships and need-based financial aid as our Early Decision and Regular Decision applicants.
