Since then I became active in two archaeological projects as a staff ecologist and landscape archaeologist. The first project is <a href=\"http:\/\/faculty.biu.ac.il\/~maeira\/\">Tel es-Safi\/biblical Gath<\/a>, where I am analyzing the ancient plant and animal remains in comparison with modern flora, fauna, and habitats. The second project is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefullwiki.org\/Gadara_Region_Project\">Gadara Region Project<\/a> centered on Tall Zira\u2019a in Jordan. During May I was in Umm Qais, ancient Gadara, testing flotation methods to extract ancient seeds from soil samples collected in Tall Zira\u2019a.
