Courtney M. Leonard was invited to present her project BREACH as part of the panel Climate D\u00e9j\u00e0 Vu and Indigenous Ecological Futures. Hannah Ryan co-organized a panel with Lesley Wolff (Texas Tech), Nourish and Resist: Food and Transatlantic Feminisms in Contemporary Caribbean Art, bringing together an inspiring group of women-identifying artists and art historians: Shana Klein, Tashima Thomas, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maria Elena Ortiz, Cristina Maria Molina, and Vanessa Renae Centeno.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Courtney M. Leonard is a Shinnecock artist and filmmaker, whose work explores marine biology, Indigenous food sovereignty, migration, and human environmental impact. Leonard\u2019s current projects articulate the multiple definitions of the term breach and investigate and document Indigenous communities\u2019 historical ties to water, marine life, and native cultures of subsistence.
