It is beautiful and also pretty messy as well! I took on opportunities that had me live in other countries too, such as my education in UWC Mostar and now here in the USA. I knew I wanted to study Physics since I was very little, but throughout my journey in life I kept seeing a small representation of women in STEM fields. Because of this I noticed not only in myself, but my other female friends as well that we did not believe in our capabilities. Now, it is my lifelong goal to create a diverse and safe environment in STEM. Through my position in the NSM Action team I will work hard to provide support and opportunities to underrepresented backgrounds. I want to inform people on biases and how to overcome them, thus breaking the stereotypes that keep us chained to unfair expectations.
