January 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Ever wonder what it’s like to be a professional artist? Want to learn more about how business and art can integrate? Join award-winning editorial cartoonist and illustrator, Ward Sutton ’89, and Sutton Impact Business Manager, Sue Unkenholz ’89, as they share their insights about the artistic process and how to manage a creative business.
Ward’s cartoons have appeared in The Boston Globe, The New Yorker, The Nib, The Nation, and a host of others. Bands including Pearl Jam and Phish have commissioned concert posters. His animation has run on HBO and Comedy Central, while he also is the semi-secret creator of Kelly, the (fake) editorial cartoonist for The Onion.
Ward Sutton, winner of the 2018 Herblock Prize, creates cartoons for The Boston Globe, The New Yorker, The Nib, The Nation, and more.
