How Alcohol can Affect Athletic Performance

In this presentation we will learn how the effects of alcohol influence the body both chemically and physically. Then we will discuss how alcohol can impact athletic performance or a workout, with regards to the timing of when alcohol is consumed before an athletic performance. This presentation will also discuss the usage of the 24/48 hour rule and what research says of the efficacy of this widespread rule across Ole athletics.
