Classics/Leraas Interdisciplinary Lecture

St. Olaf College alumna ​Julia Kelto Lillis ’04, a visiting assistant professor of religion at Luther College, will deliver a guest lecture titled “No Male and Female? The Fluidity of Gender in Classical and Early Christian Texts”  at 7:30 p.m. on March 14, 2019, in the Heritage Room of Buntrock Commons. The talk is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Lillis earned her M.Div. and Th.M. from Princeton Theological Seminary and her Ph.D. in Religion from Duke University. In 2017-18 she was a postdoctoral fellow and lecturer at the University of Virginia. Her lecture is sponsored by the Leraas Interdisciplinary Endowment, with support from Classics, Religion, Women’s & Gender Studies, and Great Conversation.
