Lecture: Islamophobia, White Nationalism, and Politics In Minnesota

The St. Olaf College Departments of Sociology/Anthropology and Religion will host an interview presentation by Mohamed Omar, executive director of the Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center in Bloomington, Minnesota, and Faith in Minnesota.

The speakers will discuss the 2017 bombing of the Islamic Center and the ways in which Omar and the Muslim community have organized to respond to Islamophobia and white nationalism in Minnesota.
