Ole Cup 2024 | 10-Year Anniversary Celebration

Welcome to the 2024 Ole Cup! We are excited to celebrate the history of entrepreneurship at St. Olaf College and the 10-year anniversary of the Ole Cup with a wonderful community of alums, students, and friends of the college.

Launched in 2014, the Ole Cup is an annual student entrepreneurial pitch competition open to all St. Olaf students. The Ole Cup helped launch successful businesses like JonnyPops, Teranga Strings, and the Ole Thrift Shop. The winner of the Ole Cup is awarded a $10,000 prize to help launch their business.

First prize: $10,000 – Whiskey Woods

Third prize: $3,000 – Cord

Social Impact prize: $5,000 – The Shop 1500

The winner of the Ole Cup automatically qualifies for the semi-final round of the Minnesota Cup student division where the winner (of the student division) is awarded $30,000, and can compete for the Minnesota Cup Grand Prize of $50,000.
