St. Olaf alumni contribute to the scientific community through a variety of roles across a range of industries. Ole STEM will provide a forum for students to network with alumni, faculty, and friends of the college who majored in and pursued careers in the sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Schedule of events:
6-7 p.m. Keynote speakers – Branden (’07) & Erin (’06) Moriarity – Branden is a cancer researcher and Erin is a forensic scientist
7:00-7:45 p.m. Listen to recent alumni who have developed careers across a wide range of STEM-related fields in academia, government, and industry through three-minute lightning talks
7:45-8:30 p.m. Connect with alumni and faculty involved in STEM careers during a dessert reception. Network with STEM-related employers seeking candidates for internship and post-grad job opportunities in the Buntrock Commons Sun Ballroom.
