Paint Yourself Calm

Looking for a way to relieve stress and get your creative juices flowing? Come to the Paint The Stress Away Event where you can learn to watercolor mindfully, and take home free art supplies. Bring a friend and come prepared to paint, no experience needed!

Participants will explore the concept of art therapy and understand how it can benefit their emotional wellbeing. Learn how to use watercolor paints in a mindful way to emulate meditation. Have the opportunity to use painting as a stress relief strategy to help in emotional regulation. And learn about several BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ artists who have social media followings and podcasts to further explore art and wellness resources.
