Join Ian Hamilton ’14 who served in Zambia and Julee Muro de Gerome, the Peace Corps recruiter.
Ian Hamilton is a 2014 St. Olaf alum and current second-year graduate student at Emory University for the Master’s in Development Practice program as a Paul D. Coverdell Fellow. He served in Peace Corps Zambia 2015-2017 as a Rural Education Development Volunteer, where he taught English, collaborated on malaria and HIV prevention campaigns and led agriculture programs. Last summer for his field practicum, he worked in Ghana with the NGO Worldreader and Ministry of Education conducting qualitative research on the integration of technology into the primary school curriculum. Ian hopes to continue working abroad on childhood literacy projects after he finishes his program in August.
