The Courage to Heal
December 8 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pmFree
The Gospel Choir of St. Olaf is excited present their winter concert!
Gospel Choir is a student-run organization open to singers of all experience levels and religious or non-religious backgrounds. Conducted by seniors Paulo Gladney ’19 and Kaci Campbell ’19, the choir performs each semester in daily chapel services, local church services, and a concert of their own. Members of the Gospel Choir sing and discuss Gospel music and how it relates to their lives in spiritual and practical ways. They are part of a welcoming community that offers a place to enjoy and learn music in a unique, loving environment. “The Courage to Heal,” this winter’s concert in the Lion’s Pause, focuses on the need for healing that characterizes the experience of much of the nation, the St. Olaf campus, and every person as they travel through a transforming life and faith journey. The concert looks at healing through several lenses found in the Gospel tradition.
All are invited to attend.
