The Theology and Practice of Being Lutheran and Inter-religious

March 10 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am

Join Dr. Gregory Walter and Dr. Anantanand Rambachan to discuss the theological and practical questions of being Lutheran and inter-religious. The Spring Symposium continues conversations begun in the fall about what it means for St. Olaf to be rooted in Lutheran identity and actively and intentionally inter-religious.

In the fall, 70 faculty and staff gathered to reflect on a new policy statement from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America on Lutheran inter-religious commitment. The Spring Symposium will dive more deeply into some theological and practical questions of this both/and identity of 21st century Lutheranism and St. Olaf College.
