DESCRIPTION:Seattle alumni are invited to join the Barnard Griffin Winery Woodinville Tasting Room on Saturday\, May 10\, from noon to 2 p.m. for a guided exploration of Cabernet Sauvignon! \nIf wine had a quintessential “comfort food”\, it would be a glass of hearty Cabernet Sauvignon. Long considered the king of wine grapes\, Cabernet Sauvignon has a storied history and is one of the first grapes most people think of when they think of red wine. We will discuss what makes Cab such a stand-out from the vineyard to your glass and how oak became Cabernet’s best friend in the cellar.
