DESCRIPTION:Tradition in Motion\, A Korean Music-Lecture Concert with the Haegeum\, explores the rich soundscape of Korean traditional music through the expressive voice of the haegeum\, a two-stringed\, bowed instrument renowned for its emotional depth and versatility. \nThe program will trace diverse musical genres and historical moments\, introducing the aesthetic and cultural foundations of Korean music.  Moving beyond the classical\, the concert will also feature cross-genre reinterpretations of popular songs such as “My Way\,” “Ob-La-Di\, Ob-La-Da\,” and “Golden\,” demonstrating how music transcends boundaries to connect the past and present. \nThe event is free and open to the public. \n
