SUMMARY:St. Olaf Philharmonia and Norseman Band Concert
DESCRIPTION:The St. Olaf Philharmonia\, conducted by Associate Professor of Music Chung Park\, and the Norseman Band\, conducted by Adjunct Associate Professor of Music Michael Buck\, present a joint concert. This event is open to the public. \nThe Norseman Band is one of two symphonic bands at St. Olaf and has developed a reputation in recent years as a dynamic and exciting concert ensemble. The band strives to program for a wide and diverse audience. \nThe St. Olaf Philharmonia was established in 1975 to accommodate the college’s growing numbers of strong players. The orchestra performs music from all periods\, including repertoire for string orchestra\, chamber orchestra\, and symphony orchestra.
