DESCRIPTION:Please join the Piper Center for a visit to Medtronic to meet with alumni\, take a tour\, and learn about job and internship opportunities for you. \nMedtronic (https://www.medtronic.com/us-en/index.html) is a Twin-Cities-based medical device company that innovates solutions for over 70 health conditions through specific products that include cardiac devices\, cranial and spine robotics/nerve stimulators\, insulin pumps\, surgical tools\, ventilators\, and patient monitoring systems. \nThe company has internships (https://www.medtronic.com/us-en/our-company/careers/early-careers.html)\, and full-time jobs in STEM include those in the following areas: \n• Engineering \n• Statistics and data science \n• Science (Chemistry\, Biology\, Neuroscience\, Biomolecular Science) \n• IT\, computer science\, AI\, and robotics \n• Clinical\, medical\, and intellectual property areas \nThe free visit will take place on Monday\, April 20\, 2026\, and transportation will leave St. Olaf  at approximately 12:30 p.m.\, returning around 5 p.m. \nTypically\, these visits involve a tour\, refreshments\, networking with alumni\, and an alumni panel and reception.
