DESCRIPTION:In recognition of National Library Week\, National Volunteer Week\, and the 250th Anniversary of America’s Declaration of Independence\, all members of the St. Olaf community are invited to participate in a Semiquincentennial Transcribe-a-thon! \nLearn about everyday life for people living during America’s revolutionary age by volunteering to help transcribe 18th-century documents from the Library of Congress’ The American Revolution in Context crowd-sourced transcription collection. Bring your laptop to participate in transcription. No experience required\, training and support will be provided during the event. Sponsored by LITS\, IFC\, and the Svoboda Center for Civic Engagement.
