Students in the &#8220;Imagining Democracies Globally&#8221; first year seminar will lead discussion about how speakers&#8217; ideas can inform our own participation in democracy.<\/p>\n<p>Here is more information about the upcoming speakers and dialogue opportunity:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuesday, April 7:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/institute.stolaf.edu\/spring26-kurtweyland\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Kurt Weyland<\/a>,\u00a0<em>Democracy&#8217;s Resilience to Populism&#8217;s Threat<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participants should plan to attend both the lecture (3:30-4:30\u00a0PM) and the discussion following the lecture (4:45-5:45\u00a0PM).
