{"id":1295,"date":"2015-04-20T14:34:12","date_gmt":"2015-04-20T19:34:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/chemical-hygiene\/?page_id=1295"},"modified":"2018-03-05T10:00:36","modified_gmt":"2018-03-05T16:00:36","slug":"inventories","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/chemical-hygiene\/stockrooms\/inventories\/","title":{"rendered":"Stockroom Inventories"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-modular-content-collection><h3>\u00a0<strong>What is Stored in the\u00a0Stockrooms?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Stockrooms house a variety of lab resources that fall into one of four categories:\n<ol>\n<li>Disposables<\/li>\n<li>General Supplies that are reusable (e.g., glassware)<\/li>\n<li>Equipment that\u00a0needed for limited time periods<\/li>\n<li>Chemicals<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>No single\u00a0stockroom has the capacity to house a complete inventory of all RNS lab supplies and equipment<\/strong>; therefore, most supplies and equipment are specific to a particular stockroom.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Teaching and research labs typically contain\u00a0the items that are necessary for work in that particular space. \u00a0<\/strong>Such lab-specific items are not housed in the stockrooms.<\/li>\n<li><strong>For a complete list of items found in a particular stockroom:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Take some time and browse the shelves. \u00a0It is good practice for you to become familiar with the stockrooms.\n<ul>\n<li>There is an itemized\u00a0inventory list located on the end of each shelving unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Use the 3-Ring Inventory Binder to determine its proper location. \u00a0These binders are sitting on the counter in each stockroom.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quartzy.com\/login\" target=\"_blank\">Quartzy database<\/a> to determine an item&#8217;s\u00a0location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0What is Stored in the\u00a0Stockrooms?
