If you&#8217;re not familiar with bell hooks, read a brief biography&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nmaahc.si.edu\/explore\/stories\/bell-hooks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>. We will meet three times each semester for discussions over a shared meal, snacks, and\/or drinks. <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/cila\/bell-hooks\/\">Click here<\/a> to learn more and to sign up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mid-career Faculty Community<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are you a mid-career faculty member who would like to discuss ways to prioritize what matters to you at this busy stage of your career? For the purposes of this reading group, mid-career is defined as teaching faculty of any rank and appointment type who are between these two milestones: about seven years after receiving a terminal degree and about ten years before retirement. <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/cila\/cila-mid-career-faculty-community\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here<\/a> for more information.
