CAMWS Awards for Outstanding Accomplishment in Classical Studies<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Every year, the Classical Association of the Middle West and South offers Awards for Outstanding Accomplishment in Classical Studies. These go to deserving undergraduate students who have been selected by the classics department at their college or university. Each award brings with it a certificate and a one-year complimentary membership in CAMWS.<\/p>\n

St. Olaf’s winner for 2024-25 is Lucia M. Iurino <\/b>’25, a Classics and Music major from Tucson, AZ, who earned distinction in Classics with her paper, \u201cPlaying Hunters,” on hunting metaphors in Plato.<\/p>\n
