Expectations and rules for St. Olaf Summer participants are designed to provide the highest quality educational experience possible to comply with state laws and to keep participants safe. For the comfort and safety of everyone at St. Olaf, we require everyone to abide by these campus policies.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/figcaption>\n\t\n<\/figure>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

St. Olaf College Prohibits:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Alcoholic Beverages and Other Drugs:<\/span>\u00a0 Campers\/Guests are prohibited from possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages and\/or illegal drugs. Those found in possession of alcohol or illegal drugs will be sent home immediately.<\/li>\n
  2. Smoking:<\/span>\u00a0 Smoking is prohibited for all campers\/guests.\u00a0 Violators will be sent home immediately.<\/li>\n
  3. Firearms and Fireworks:\u00a0<\/span> Firearms, other weapons and fireworks are not permitted on campus.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Security<\/strong>:\u00a0 Public Safety officers are on duty 24 hours per day.<\/p>\n

    Vehicle Policy\/Parking: <\/strong>\u00a0All overnight campers\/guests must display a temporary parking permit for their vehicle and must park in the Skoglund\/Tostrud parking lot or risk having their car towed.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/strong>Pets<\/strong>:\u00a0 Pets are not permitted in any buildings on the St. Olaf campus.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/strong>Quiet Hours<\/strong>:\u00a0 For the comfort of all, quiet hours are between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/strong>Fire Alarms<\/strong>:\u00a0 Tampering with fire systems or fire safety equipment will result in a fine of $500.<\/p>\n

    Window Screens<\/strong>: Dormitory window screens may NOT be removed.\u00a0 A $100 fine will be assessed to any person removing a screen \u2013 even if it is just for one minute!<\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/strong>Room Keys<\/strong>: Each camper\/guest will receive a room key.\u00a0 Lost room keys will result in a $100 replacement fee that must be paid before leaving campus.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/article>\n\n\t\t\t\n

    Messages to camper\/guest<\/strong>:\u00a0 If you need to leave a message, please call the Conferences, Camps, and Events Office at 507-786-3031 or send an e-mail to summer@stolaf.edu.\u00a0 You may leave a detailed message at this number or e-mail at any time of day or night; messages will be checked frequently from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and will be delivered in a timely manner.\u00a0 If the message is urgent, please indicate this when you call or e-mail.<\/p>\n

    Emergency After Hours Messages<\/strong>: Campus security will deliver emergency messages between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.\u00a0 Dial 507-786-3666 to leave a message.\u00a0 Please use this service only<\/u> for emergencies.<\/em><\/p>\n

    Email: <\/strong>\u00a0All academic buildings have public computers so campers\/guests will be able to check e-mail.\u00a0 They will be required to obtain a free log-in password for the week from their counselor\/director.<\/p>\n
