Reopening Phase 4
To St. Olaf College faculty and staffFrom From Campus Reopening Lead Enoch Blazis
We have completed the first round of COVID-19 baseline testing, received the results, and are now moving into Phase 4 of the reopening plan. In this phase, students are still quarantined on campus and restricted to their residence hall floor and immediate outdoor areas but allowed more outside exercise opportunities. Please see the message below that Pamela McDowell sent to students outlining our guidelines and expectations in this quarantine phase. We will remain in Phase 4 through September 2.
This is another important step for our fall semester, and I am happy to report that we are on track with our reopening plan and a little ahead of schedule on moving to Phase 4. I want to thank Brad Hoff and the many faculty and staff who assisted in the first round of testing and Aida Mejia and Heidi Quiram and the Contact Tracing Team they have assembled. There is much more work to be done with the second round of baseline testing and throughout the semester, but their efforts and your collective support are benefiting us all. Thank you.
