The following learning outcomes will be met within the framework of the major. Students will demonstrate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and integration of the array of theories and practices specific to kinesiology and its related fields (biology, chemistry, psychology, neuroscience, nutrition, and statistics) in preparation for graduate-level study and research.<\/li>\n<li>Mastery of the basic laboratory skills pertaining to assessments, laboratory methods, sound experimental and analytical practices, data acquisition and reporting in kinesiology.<\/li>\n<li>Effective oral and written communication skills.\u00a0The ability to craft a research proposal and professional poster as a result\u00a0of synthesizing the relevant literature on a specific topic of their choosing.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to translate classroom learning into real-world practice in all\u00a0experiential learning opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to assess, design, and implement individual and group exercise\u00a0and fitness programs for\u00a0individuals who are apparently healthy and those\u00a0with controlled disease.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>May 2021<\/p>\n<p><!-- begin-migrated-from-panel-builder --><!-- end-migrated-from-panel-builder --><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Intended Learning Outcomes The major introduces students to the principles and methods of kinesiology.
