Karen Olson – Halvorson Music Library – St. Olaf Libraries<\/h2>\n\n

The Libraries\u2019 current cataloging does not support searches by demographic categories, such as ethnic or gender identities. This database, developed in Elevator by music alum Raina Swanson Edson, enables library patrons to search for musical works in our collection by women and BIPOC composers. The database has been used by the organ studio class in a Fall 2022 project promoting female composers, and has also been used by individual students looking for diverse repertoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
