We employ a culturally responsive-sustaining (CR-S) framework to equip teacher candidates to include historically marginalized voices in the center of the curriculum, practice anti-racist pedagogy, and become advocates for social change. Our teacher candidates learn to affirm their students\u2019 cultural identities, cultivate student-centered learning, and teach critical thinking
