These experiences are integral components to the St. Olaf College Teacher Education Program and provide an opportunity to apply educational theory to real-world settings. Students are required to complete a minimum of 120 hours of field experience, 60 hours of which must be in a diverse setting.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/education\/fehandbook\/\">Field Experience Handbook<\/a>. This handbook outlines the field experience expectations for students and host teachers.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.applitrack.com\/nfld\/StartForm.aspx?id=-495251393571\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Northfield Background Check Form\u00a0<\/a> This background check form goes directly to the Northfield School District and must be submitted before assisting in a school.
