She started participating in TRIO Educational Talent Search and the Mentoring program in 9<sup>th<\/sup> grade.\u00a0 Ellie went on mentoring field trips with ETS\u00a0to visit colleges and gain more perspective on the college scene.\u00a0 She feels that the staff were great and were there to answer so many of her questions, and taught her so much about college, how important it is and how to be successful.\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cI wouldn\u2019t have even known where to start when it came to planning for my future it is wasn\u2019t for those fantastic people!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ellie graduated from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls with a BS in psychology and a minor in communication disorders. She is currently working for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as a Loan Documentation Specialist and helps people with their loans when purchasing a new house.<\/p>\n<p>Ellie\u2019s advice to current or future ETS participants, \u201cPlease do not take these people for granted! They work to the best of their ability and they use all of the resources possible to help you shape your future. These people are intelligent and have all experienced the full college life, so they know better than anyone how college is going to be. Do as many things with them as you can, especially the volunteering and college visits.
