{"id":1645,"date":"2013-03-01T11:51:16","date_gmt":"2013-03-01T17:51:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/financialaid\/?page_id=1645"},"modified":"2023-06-07T08:19:45","modified_gmt":"2023-06-07T13:19:45","slug":"returning-international-students","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/financialaid\/returning-international-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Returning International Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-modular-content-collection><p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Financial support for returning international students will remain consistent with the aid package that was provided to the student at the time of admittance to the college.\u00a0 The financial aid that was awarded by St. Olaf will be renewed for up to 8 semesters of full time enrollment.<\/p>\n<p>Returning international students will not need to complete a renewal financial aid application after their first year.<\/p>\n<p>If there has been a dramatic change to a family\u2019s circumstances since the initial review of aid eligibility, students should come to the Financial Aid Office to talk to a counselor.\u00a0 Fluctuations in currency and exchange rates will not result in further review or adjustment of financial aid.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>For more info about how to accept your St. Olaf Loan, please click below<\/h3>\n<p>All students, accepting the College Loan, are required to complete a Promissory Note (digitally sign for the loan) once each academic year.\u00a0 This will be completed online with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecsi.net\/promF68\">Heartland\/ECSI<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First Time Borrowers,\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"collapseomatic \" id=\"id6a0110a60f89a\"  tabindex=\"0\" title=\"&lt;strong&gt;click here.&lt;\/strong&gt;\"    ><strong>click here.<\/strong><\/span><div id=\"target-id6a0110a60f89a\" class=\"collapseomatic_content \">\n<ul>\n<li>You will receive an email from ECSI with a PIN number, used to authenticate yourself.
