How do I obtain health insurance as a domestic student?<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>As of the 2024-2025 academic year, St. Olaf will no longer offer a school-sponsored health insurance plan for domestic students. This decision was made while considering the needs of students, families, and staff. Please call ahead so we can plan for your appointment, we may not be able to accommodate walk-ins.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><i>How much does it cost to see the provider in Health Services?<br \/>\n<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We charge for certain tests and over the counter items, otherwise, there is no fee for your visit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><i>When can I be seen in Health Services?<br \/>\n<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ALWAYS CALL 911 OR PUBLIC SAFETY AT 507-786-3666 IN AN EMERGENCY. Our appointment hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM. We are closed during the lunch hour, 12:00-1:00. Our office is not open on the weekends, evenings, college holidays, or during the summer. If you need medical care outside of our appointment hours, you may use TimelyCare &#8211; free, 24\/7 medical and mental telehealth care. Students are required to upload a copy of their immunization record when they matriculate to St. Olaf. Information is sent to student emails with instructions on this process before they arrive to campus.<\/span><i><br \/>\n<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><i>Where do I find my immunization record?<br \/>\n<\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can ask your healthcare provider for a copy of your immunization record. It is likely that your graduating high school also has your immunization record. The Department of Health in the state you received your immunizations will also have records. If you have received immunizations in Minnesota, you can use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.state.mn.us\/people\/immunize\/miic\/docket.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Docket app<\/a> to easily look up your immunization record.<\/span><i><br \/>\n<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><i>What immunizations can I get in Health Services?<br \/>\n<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Multiple immunization clinics are scheduled during the academic year in Health Services and are provided by Cub Pharmacy.\u00a0 You can contact our office at 507-786-3063 to register for an appointment at the next immunization clinic.\u00a0 Check with your health insurance provider to see if vaccinations given by Cub Pharmacy would be covered under your policy.\u00a0 If not, you would need to pay the out of pocket costs listed below. The following immunizations can be given at immunization clinics:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TDAP ($75)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MMR ($130 each) *This immunizations?<br \/>\n<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many local pharmacies are able to administer TDAP, Flu, and Covid-19 immunizations.\u00a0 There are also two clinics in campus?<br \/>\n<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Walgreens Pharmacy (507-645-9658) and Sterling Pharmacy (507-645-4455) both offer delivery service of prescriptions to campus.\u00a0 Prescriptions are delivered to the Post Office in plain packaging with the student\u2019s name by the pharmacy.\u00a0 The Post Office staff will put a note in the student\u2019s PO box to come to the PO window to pick up their prescription.\u00a0 To set up delivery, students will need to call the pharmacy of their choice directly to establish the delivery and payment options.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><i>My prescription is with the pharmacy where I live.\u00a0 How do I get my prescriptions locally?<br \/>\n<\/i><\/strong>Contact your current pharmacy and tell them you need to transfer your prescription to a local pharmacy in Northfield.\u00a0 A list of local pharmacies is located on the <a style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\"
