{"id":725,"date":"2017-05-03T14:02:26","date_gmt":"2017-05-03T19:02:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/health\/?page_id=725"},"modified":"2026-04-09T15:48:49","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T20:48:49","slug":"tuberculosis-screening","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/health\/tuberculosis-screening","title":{"rendered":"Tuberculosis Screening"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-modular-content-collection><p><b>Tuberculosis Screening<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Students arriving from countries with an increased incidence of tuberculosis (TB) <strong>or<\/strong> students with identifiable risk factors for exposure to TB MUST complete TB screening BEFORE arrival on campus. \u00a0The <a href=\"https:\/\/olecare.stolaf.edu\/\">OleCare Portal <\/a>will help determine who needs TB testing. \u00a0<strong>Please do not send forms for tuberculosis screening by\u00a0fax or email attachment.<\/strong>\u00a0 You can view the form for reference <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/health\/files\/2026\/04\/ACFROG2.pdf\">here<\/a>. Screening needs to be within <strong>6<\/strong> months prior to college entrance. Mantoux (skin testing) is not an acceptable form of screening, students must complete a blood test (Quantiferon Gold).
