The History Department typically hires four student workers each academic year to work as Office Assistants. These students perform a variety of tasks, from scanning to website design, and are an intregal part of the department and great support to the faculty and staff! Most students who seek this position are History majors, but it is not a requirement. Meet our 2025-2026 student workers below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyle Leonard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyle is a senior History and Political Science major with a concentration in Statistics and Data Science. He has worked for the department since the fall of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fun fact: he has a post-baccalaureate certificate in paralegal studies!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kenna Schumack<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kenna is a junior Pre-Med and Biology major with a concentration in Biomolecular Science. She has worked for the department since the spring of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fun fact: she has been to more than half of the U.S. National Parks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roxi Wessel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roxi is a senior History and Political Science major with a concentration in Statistics and Data Science. They have worked for the department since the fall of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fun fact: they have six generations of relatives named Tullius Cicero!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Claire is a junior History and Ancient Studies major. She has worked for the department since the spring of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
