St. Olaf prides itself on being a respectful community. To ensure everyone defines respectful behaviors in the same way, we require all employees and volunteers to complete both Sexual Abuse Awareness and Understanding and Preventing Sexual Violence training modules.  These modules can be done at work or at home. Employees paid hourly should include the training as paid time worked on their timesheet.

Protecting Children on Campus: Preventing Sexual Abuse
Employees will receive an email within one week from their start date with the subject “ACTION REQUIRED – St. Olaf College Training Assignment”. The email will contain instructions to complete this training.

Speak Up: Understanding and Preventing Sexual Violence
Enter your first name, last name, email address (use your St. Olaf email if you have one), and department. Then click Submit to begin the training.


These training modules must be completed within the first two weeks of employment or volunteering.
