Given by supervisors\/managers to their own team members for exceptional support on a project, such as:\n<ul>\n<li>Attaining a stretch goal<\/li>\n<li>Completing a large project<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrating exceptional teamwork<\/li>\n<li>Improving process efficiencies and\/or significantly reducing expenses<\/li>\n<li>Taking on additional responsibilities while covering for another employee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Rewards exceptional, meritorious one-time achievement by supervisors\/managers <strong>across functions<\/strong> for exceptional support on a project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Award Value<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>ROAR Awards are available in the form of a digital gift card*. The supervisor specifies which dollar amount ($50, $100, or $150) they wish to award on the Nomination Form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Process Flow<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Nomination.\u00a0<\/strong>Supervisor completes online Nomination Form.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Review and Decision.\u00a0<\/strong>President&#8217;s Leadership Team member reviews Nomination Form and decides.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Employee Receives Award. <\/strong>Human Resources will send the employee the digital gift card and message from supervisor via email.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>* Gift card value will be taxable earnings to the employee.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: Only current St. Olaf College employees are eligible for ROAR awards.<\/p>\n<p><!-- begin-migrated-from-panel-builder --><!-- end-migrated-from-panel-builder --><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recognizing Outstanding and Admirable Results NOMINATION FORM Purpose Rewards exceptional, meritorious one-time achievement within the employee\u2019s own job responsibilities.
